April 15th, Dublin -- Maud Gonne's painting of Maeve, presented to WBY in 1898, was auctioned for 30,000 euros from Anne Yeats' estate at James Adam and Sons, along with a catalogue of Irish revolutionary memorabilia which includes Michael Collins' "prison break" letter and an original copy of the declaration of the Republic.
